Spiko is seeking a Regulatory Counsel to own the groundwork for scaling compliance as new products and EU markets come online. You will report to the Head of Legal & Compliance and help ensure licenses, procedures, and regulator relationships are aligned for timely launches.

You will lead license applications and passporting across EU/EEA, advise on regulatory risks, and support the legal team on non-recurring matters such as product updates, corporate law, and contracts.

Qualifications

• Native French with excellent written skills; proficient in English.
• Experience in fintech or financial regulation departments of law firms or financial institutions.
• Strong track record engaging with regulators regarding licenses (FR/EU).
• Knowledge of MiFID/MiFIR, MiCA, AML frameworks.

Responsabilités

• Lead MiFID and MiCA license applications; coordinate with regulators and external counsel.
• Manage passporting notifications and regulatory compliance across host EU/EEA countries.
• Collaborate with Compliance to draft procedures, update records, and file regulatory reports.
• Support Head of Legal on other regulatory matters, new products, and commercial agreements.
