Job summary

NiCE Cognigy is seeking a Manager, PreSales Engineering, AI to lead a hands-on Sales Engineering team across Benelux, France, and Nordics. You will drive strategic deal support, market penetration, and thought leadership while staying closely aligned with business priorities.

You’ll lead a team of 5–6 Sales Engineers delivering demos, answering RFPs, and supporting events. Report to the Senior Director, PreSales Engineering, AI and shape growth in these regions.

Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise software, ideally with contact center or automation technologies.
• Proven leadership: team lead or manager, 1:1s, people development.
• Strong understanding of technology and AI and ability to coach a high-performing team.
• Ability to stay current and share knowledge in a fast-changing field.
• Comfort working under pressure with deadlines and gaps.
• Deep understanding of Conversational AI, GenAI, LLMs, STT and TTS.
• Familiarity with agentic AI concepts such as RAG, MCP and A2A communication.
• Strong selling skills: qualify opportunities, build rapport, demonstrate value.

Responsibilities

• Lead a hands-on Sales Engineering team across Benelux, France, and Nordics.
• Engage in strategic deal support and market penetration with direct business impact.
• Drive lead generation and build a qualified pipeline in the regions.
• Oversee demos, RFP responses, and events to showcase NiCE Cognigy solutions.
• Mentor the team, provide training, and stay sharp on product capabilities.
