Job summary

Proofpoint in France is seeking a proactive Public Sector Account Manager to drive cybersecurity solution sales across government and related public sector entities. The role targets C‑level engagement, expansion with current customers, and the growth of a strategic portfolio with Proofpoint Platform offerings.

You will work with Systems Engineers and channel partners to craft account plans, deliver compelling demos, and protect critical public sector assets from advanced threats.

Qualifications

• Experience closing opportunities in the range of $100k–$1m.
• Fluency in French and English.
• Ability to build executive-level relationships in the public sector.

Responsibilities

• Build executive-level relationships within the public sector to drive growth.
• Expand presence with existing customers by introducing security, compliance and information protection platforms.
• Articulate and promote Proofpoint’s value proposition as a trusted advisor.
• Prepare account strategies with Systems Engineers to maximize opportunities.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineers to deliver compelling product demonstrations.
• Partner with channel ecosystem to access new accounts.
• Maintain forecast accuracy and pipeline progression.
• Stay up-to-date on Proofpoint’s competitive positioning.
