Job summary

Proofpoint in Paris is seeking a Public Sector Account Manager to drive cybersecurity software sales across government and public institutions. You’ll build executive-level relationships, expand existing accounts, and articulate Proofpoint’s platform to CISOs and CIOs.

Fluency in French and English, a track record of closing multi-hundred thousand deals, and experience with channel partnerships and MEDDIC are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experienced technology sales professional focusing on SaaS value-based technologies.
• Proven track record of net new logo achievements and quota attainment.
• Relentless attention to detail with high activity in executive value selling (CISO, CIO, CMO, etc.).
• Ability to establish executive-level relationships and become a trusted advisor.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strategic executive-level relationships within the public sector to drive long-term partnership and growth.
• Focus on securing new accounts and expanding presence with existing customers by introducing security, compliance and information protection platform.
• Articulate and promote Proofpoint’s value proposition to become a trusted advisor within the customer base.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineers to prepare account strategies and plans.
• Deliver compelling product demonstrations with Systems Engineers.
• Partner with the channel ecosystem to access new accounts.
• Deliver forecast accuracy and pipeline progression.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Proofpoint’s competitive positioning.
