A leading AI research firm is seeking a Political Analyst to collaborate with AI researchers on political models. Responsibilities include assessing model accuracy and contributing analytical insights. Role Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with AI researchers to train, evaluate, and refine AI models focused on political analysis, international relations, and policy interpretation.
  • Assess model outputs for accuracy, neutrality, and contextual understanding of political systems, ideologies, and global events.
  • Provide expert feedback on how AI models interpret political processes, governmental structures, and cross-border dynamics.
  • Design and review scenario-based evaluations to test the model’s understanding of diplomacy, elections, conflict, and policy outcomes.
  • Participate in synchronous collaboration sessions (4-hour windows, 2–3 times per week) to discuss evaluations, share domain insights, and help improve AI interpretive depth.
Qualifications
Must-Have
  • Advanced degree or strong professional background in Political Science, International Relations, Public Policy, or Area Studies.
  • Deep understanding of political theory, comparative politics, governance systems, and global policy frameworks.
  • Familiarity with quantitative and qualitative analysis methods used in political research.
  • Experience in policy analysis, risk assessment, or international relations is a strong plus.
  • Excellent analytical writing and reasoning skills, with the ability to critique arguments and narratives.
  • Commitment of 20–30 hours per week, including required synchronous collaboration sessions.
