In this role, you will manage all site operations, driving results aligned with production and budget targets while ensuring adherence to Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards. You'll inspire your team, optimize production processes, and ensure strict compliance with regulations. A Master's degree and over 10 years of industrial experience are required.

Plant Manager (f/m/d)
ABOUT THE ROLE

As Plant Manager in Reims, you will lead all site operations, from managing people and processes to ensuring product quality and efficient production flows. You will drive results in line with production and budget targets, while upholding strict Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.

You will inspire your team to embrace the site’s strategy, turn it into concrete goals, and take responsibility for their actions. By guiding department managers, you will foster strong leadership and accountability at every level. You will also shape the company’s social climate, driving positive cultural change. As the legal representative of WESTLAKE COMPOUNDS France SAS, you will uphold the company’s values in all you do.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead and supervise safe, efficient and high-quality production, including resource and capacity planning, process optimization and leadership of team leaders.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain on production planning, procurement, supplier performance and raw material inventory, including annual stocktake and handling of quality claims.
  • Ensure robust Quality & Control by defining QC methods, managing preventive and corrective actions, leading audits/certifications and overseeing the control laboratory.
  • Drive Safety sodass & Environment initiatives to improve HSE performance, ensure regulatory compliance and support environmental protection.
  • Optimize production assets and resources through targeted investment and maintenance strategies.
YOUR REQUIREMENTS
  • Hold a Master’s degree (Bac +5) or equivalent, paired with more than 10 years of industrial experience.
  • Bring a strong background in Production, Management, or QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, Environment).
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of PVC processes and key industry standards for quality, safety, and environment. Possess in-depth knowledge of HSE (Health, Safety, Environment lohnt) regulations.
  • Show commitment to upholding all hygiene, environmental, quality, and safety procedures in the workplace.
  • Apply quality tools and audit methods to drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead with proven managerial skills and a collaborative spirit.
  • Stand out through your attention to detail, adaptability, and strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Confidently navigate IT tools to support daily operations.
  • Communicate fluently in English.
