GoodNews in Paris is seeking a full-time People Operations employee to join the Human Resources department, handling recruitment, onboarding, payroll, offboarding, and HR administration.

You will collaborate with City Managers, Trainers and HQ teams to implement processes, ensure legal compliance and smooth employee experiences across locations.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in Human Resources, ideally in fast-paced environments such as hospitality, retail, or startups.
• At least 1 year of experience in retail, preferably in the restaurant/hospitality sector.
• Proactive and able to work autonomously.
• French and English speaker; Spanish is a plus.
• Experience with HRIS systems (Factorial, Personio, etc.).
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsabilités

• Recruitment & Selection: act as first contact for barista and HQ hiring needs, draft job descriptions, publish posts, screen CVs, and schedule interviews.
• Onboarding: coordinate onboarding, schedule training with City Managers, and manage access to internal tools.
• Payroll Management: handle hours, bonuses, reimbursements, and monthly payroll reports.
• Offboarding: manage resignations, terminations, and ensure legal compliance.
• Shift Scheduling: assign shifts, publish weekly schedules, and update replacements.
• HR Administration & Compliance: maintain HRIS, provide KPIs, improve processes, ensure labor-law compliance.
