Job summary

Dashlane is seeking an experienced Lead Accountant in Paris to own the French entity’s end‑to‑end financial operations. You will oversee monthly closes, statutory audits, VAT filings, CIR coordination, and global reporting with a hybrid work setup.

You will modernize workflows with AI‑assisted accounting tools, mentor the Staff Accountant, and collaborate with teams in the US and Portugal to ensure accurate, timely financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• 7+ years of relevant accounting and tax experience.
• Strong French statutory accounting knowledge.
• GAAP - ASC 606 Revenue Recognition knowledge (particularly within subscription or multi‑channel B2B payment models).
• Fluency in French and English (spoken and written).
• Experience with Pennylane and NetSuite or other large ERP systems (or similar modern financial platforms).
• Strong Excel skills for complex data analysis, reconciliations, and financial modeling.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete month‑end close process for the French entity.
• Lead annual French Statutory Audit and manage tax/VAT filings.
• Coordinate CIR preparation with Engineering.
• Support US GAAP audit, internal controls and international accounting projects.
• Manage US GAAP ASC 606 revenue recognition, AR collections, and local invoicing.
• Oversee payroll JEs, accruals, vendor bills and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Optimize French accounting systems (Pennylane ERP) and drive 2027 e‑invoicing compliance.
