Planet is seeking a Senior Accountant, France to own accounting, financial reporting and regulatory compliance for its French entities. The role is highly autonomous and collaborates with Finance teams globally to maintain strong controls and simplify processes.

Ideal candidates have a French accounting qualification with robust experience in ACPR reporting, month-end close and statutory reporting, plus fluency in French and English. Hybrid work is available.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with strong knowledge of French GAAP and statutory accounting requirements.
• Hands-on ownership of ACPR regulatory reporting.
• Experience with month-end close, balance sheet control and financial reporting.
• Experience in regulated environments (payments/fintech is a plus).
• Knowledge of French VAT and local tax reporting is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Own the accounting and month-end close for French entities with accurate, timely reporting.
• Ensure compliance with French GAAP and regulatory obligations.
• Prepare ACPR regulatory reporting and related submissions.
• Coordinate statutory financial statements, schedules, and audits.
• Maintain balance sheet controls and reconciliations; provide variance analysis.
