Job summary

ANINE BING, based in Paris, seeks an Accounting Manager to lead day‑to‑day AP and general accounting across France, the UK, the US and other EU markets. You will manage a small team, drive month‑end closes, and partner with the Accounting & Tax Director on policies and process improvements.

You will influence ERP enhancements and AP automation, while delivering rigorous accounting and strong vendor relationships in a fast‑paced, fashion‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• At least 2 years of people management in international multi-entity environment.
• Strong command of French GAAP; exposure to US GAAP or IFRS is a plus.
• Experience in AP and general accounting, full close cycle.
• Project management mindset with Finance × IT initiatives.
• Ability to partner with operations and other departments.
• Experience in retail, fashion, e-commerce or consumer goods is a strong plus.
• Fluent English; French is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end accounts payable across all directly-managed entities.
• Lead general accounting operations: journal entries, reconciliations, fixed assets, intercompany bookings.
• Manage and develop a team of three (AP Accountant, General Accountant, Intern).
• Partner with the Accounting & Tax Director on policies, internal controls and process improvements.
• Lead Finance × IT initiatives within scope: AP automation tools, ERP improvements, expense management systems and approval workflows.
• Support statutory audits and tax filings by preparing schedules and reconciliations.
• Act as a true business partner to Operations, Procurement, Retail and HQ teams.
