Axiom Technologies is seeking a capable desktop support professional to provide onsite and on-call IT assistance across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments. You will handle incidents, deploy software, and manage user access, while collaborating with IT teams and ensuring security compliance.

This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, with on-site presence and occasional after-hours support during maintenance windows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in desktop support or helpdesk.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, Office 365, and basic networking.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote support.

Responsibilities

• Provide first- and second-level desktop support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
• Respond to service requests and incidents via ticketing system, phone, or in-person.
• Install, upgrade, and maintain operating systems and software.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
• Set up and configure new employee workstations, including accounts and permissions.
• Maintain asset inventory and documentation.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding from a technical perspective.
• Support remote users with VPN and connectivity issues.
• Collaborate with IT teams on escalated issues and projects.
• Follow security policies including antivirus and patch management.
