You will identify and bound every meaningful region on OCR pages, assign reading order, and ensure precise transcript in Odiya script. Tasks involve evaluating page quality, maintaining strict accuracy, and collaborating with a second expert reviewer.

The role emphasizes careful handling of complex layouts and handwriting, with a focus on faithful transcription and metadata capture for each page.

Qualifications

• Native Odiya speaker with full command of script and orthography.
• Experience with annotation, transcription, localization, or QA is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Open and verify pages provided for Odiya content, ensuring legibility and absence of personal data.
• Annotate structure by bounding meaningful regions and assigning component types and reading order.
• Record relationships between regions and their parent figures or tables.
• Transcribe faithfully in Odiya script, flagging unreadable sections.
• Capture page metadata: language, type, source, dimensions, and handwriting or table flags.
• Review work through second expert quality control.
