Drama Studios in Rennes, France, is seeking a narrative writer for UNRECORD, a UE5-based narrative-driven project. You will write quest content, dialogue, and lore, collaborating closely with level and narrative design to align with the game's tone and pacing.

Regular on-site presence is expected, with partial remote work possible. The role requires proven writing experience on a shipped project, strong English writing skills, and the ability to craft intimate stories within interactive

Qualifications

• Proven writing experience on a shipped or advanced project, in games or a related narrative medium.
• Excellent writing skills in English, with the ability to write natural, restrained dialogue.
• Strong dramaturgy and storytelling craft, from overall arcs down to a single line.
• Able to write gripping, personal and intimate stories within interactive production constraints.

Responsabilités

• Write and structure quest and mission scenarios in line with the game's tone.
• Create character, faction and lore content, keeping it documented and consistent.
• Write dialogue and barks that support missions and moment-to-moment gameplay.
• Prepare narrative content for localization and iterate based on reviews and playtests.
