Job summary

Mirakl is seeking a Principal AI Engineer to lead the design, development, and adoption of AI systems across strategic business domains. You will combine deep AI engineering with product understanding to identify opportunities, define roadmaps, and deliver measurable outcomes.

You will drive architecture decisions, elevate engineering excellence, and enable AI adoption across teams and stakeholders, with domains including Sales, GTM, Marketing, Finance, and Legal.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Software Engineering, ML Engineering, or Applied AI.
• Strong experience with LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, evaluation, and production systems.
• Ability to influence Product and Business decisions.
• Proven leadership on complex cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Own Tech Strategy for Your Domain by identifying high-value opportunities and defining the tech vision.
• Lead AI system development: design, build, and promote production-grade AI systems; guide architecture decisions.
• Drive adoption and measure business impact by collaborating with end users and scaling outcomes.
• Establish technical excellence by promoting best practices, guardrails, testing, observability, and code reviews.
• Grow AI capability by mentoring engineers, sharing reusable components, and building internal expertise.
