Mirakl is seeking a Principal AI Engineer to lead the design, development, and adoption of AI systems across strategic business domains from Paris or Bordeaux, with 4 days on-site per week. You will fuse deep AI engineering expertise with product insight to identify opportunities, define roadmaps, and deliver measurable outcomes.

You will drive architecture decisions, promote technical excellence, and mentor teams to raise the bar in AI capabilities across the organization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Software Engineering, ML Engineering, or Applied AI.
• Strong experience with LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, evaluation, and production systems.
• Ability to influence Product and Business decisions; Proven leadership on complex cross-functional initiatives.

Responsabilités

• Own Tech Strategy for Your Domain: define the tech vision and roadmap for the AI domain.
• Lead AI System Development: design and build production-grade AI systems; drive architecture decisions; ensure scalability and reliability.
• Drive Adoption & Business Impact: work with end users, measure adoption and outcomes, accelerate AI transformation.
• Establish Technical Excellence: promote best practices for evaluation, testing, guardrails, and observability; mentor engineers.
• Grow AI Capability: mentor AI engineers and sharing reusable components.
