Job summary

Mirakl is seeking a Lead AI Engineer to design, build, and scale AI systems across strategic business domains. Based in Paris or Bordeaux, the role is CDI with four on-site days per week, and you will shape the AI tech roadmap, lead production-grade AI initiatives, and mentor teams to raise technical excellence.

You will work closely with business leaders to drive measurable outcomes, foster adoption across domains, and push expertise through reusable components and strong governance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Software Engineering, ML Engineering, or Applied AI.
• Strong experience with LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, evaluation, and production systems.
• Ability to influence Product and Business decisions.
• Proven leadership on complex cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Own Tech Strategy for Your Domain and define the agent product roadmap.
• Lead the design and development of production-grade AI systems.
• Drive adoption and measure business impact of AI initiatives across the domain.
• Establish technical excellence with guardrails, testing, and observability.
• Grow AI capability by mentoring engineers and sharing reusable components.
