Job summary

Mirakl is hiring a Principal AI Engineer to lead the design, development and adoption of AI systems within strategic business domains in Paris or Bordeaux, with four days on-site per week. You will combine deep AI engineering expertise with product and business insight to identify high-impact opportunities, define roadmaps, and deliver measurable outcomes.

This role drives architecture decisions, engineering excellence, and AI adoption across Sales, GTM, Finance, and Legal while mentoring

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software engineering, ML engineering or applied AI.
• Strong experience with LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, evaluation, and production systems.
• Ability to influence product and business decisions.
• Proven leadership on complex cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Own Tech Strategy for your domain; define the agent product roadmap for your domain.
• Lead AI System Development; design production-grade AI systems and drive architecture decisions.
• Drive adoption and measure outcomes; accelerate AI transformation across your domain.
• Establish technical excellence; promote best practices for evaluation, testing, guardrails, and observability.
• Grow AI capability; mentor engineers and share reusable components.
