Job summary

Isabel Marant in Paris seeks a Business Development & Account Management professional to manage a portfolio of Italian retailers and strategic partners. You will build strong relationships as the main brand contact and identify opportunities to grow existing accounts in line with brand positioning.

The role focuses on showroom management, defining budgets and sales targets, and supporting clients in balanced assortments.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in wholesale, account management or sales in fashion/luxury retail.
• Strong knowledge of the Italian wholesale landscape and key market players.
• Existing relationships with Italian department stores and specialty retailers are a strong advantage.
• Commercially driven with the ability to build trusted partnerships.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in sales data, budgets and performance indicators.
• Organized, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and good command of Microsoft Office.
• Fluent in Italian and English; French is a plus.
• Passion for fashion, product and brand development.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a portfolio of department stores, specialty retailers and strategic partners across Italy.
• Build strong client relationships as the main brand contact.
• Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and expand distribution.
• Negotiate commercial agreements and support clients in achieving business goals.
• Prepare showroom appointments and define budgets and sales targets with clients.
• Support clients in building balanced assortments and monitor performance.
• Monitor sell-in/sell-out and share market insights.
• Coordinate marketing activations and local events to drive sales.
