Jobtailor in Paris is seeking an IT support specialist to provide on-site user support across Windows, macOS and Linux, and to actively diagnose and resolve hardware and software incidents.

You will manage devices, access rights, and software licenses, contribute to onboarding/offboarding, and coordinate with external IT providers while maintaining a detailed IT knowledge base. Fluent French and English are required in an international context; you will work autonomously in a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Education: IT-oriented studies such as BTS, Bachelor, or Licence.
• Experience in IT support is a plus (internships, apprenticeships, or projects).
• Willingness to learn in a demanding environment; strong curiosity.
• Comfort with Windows, macOS and ideally Linux.
• Good interpersonal skills and service orientation.
• Proficiency in French and English in an international context.

Overview

• User support
• Handle IT tickets (ITSM tools) and escalate to the appropriate level when necessary
• Provide on-site user support for Windows, macOS and Linux environments
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software incidents
• Equipment and access management
• Participate in employee onboarding and offboarding (prepare workstations, manage access rights, inventory, equipment retrieval)
• Ensure device compliance and security via MDM tools (Windows, macOS)
• Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets (computers, peripherals, AV equipment, networking, telephony, etc.)
• Manage user accounts, software licenses, and access rights (directory services, email, VPN, etc.)
• Operations & Documentation
• Coordinate with external IT service providers when necessary
• Contribute to the IT knowledge base (procedures, documentation, best practices)
• Assist with IT requirements related to office fit-outs or internal relocations

Requirements

• Education: IT-oriented studies (BTS, Bachelor's degree, Licence or equivalent)
• Experience: prior experience in IT support is a plus (internship, apprenticeship, or personal projects)
• Technical curiosity and a strong desire to learn in a demanding environment
• Comfortable working with Windows, macOS and ideally Linux
• Good interpersonal skills, service-oriented attitude, and ability to work increasingly autonomously
• Proficiency in French and English in an international work context
