IXO is seeking a remote interviewer evaluator to assess structured conversations. You will examine how questions are asked, how participants respond, and whether interpretations are supported by the interaction.

The role requires 3–5+ years in investigative interviewing or related fields, with training in PEACE or cognitive interviewing as a strong asset. Approximately 15+ hours weekly, pay range USD 30–70 per hour.

Qualifications

• Preferred background includes three to five years in investigative interviewing, intelligence elicitation, negotiation or comparable professional practice.
• Experience with PEACE, cognitive interviewing or related method is valuable.
• Experience with annotation, AI evaluation or assessment-report writing is useful; prior AI work is not essential.

Your work at IXO Apply professional interviewing experience to the evaluation of structured conversations. The aim is clear, traceable reasoning rather than unexamined intuition.

• Explain your reasoning in language suitable for both specialist and non-specialist reviewers.
• Apply the agreed rubric consistently across sessions and flag ambiguous cases.

Preferred experience

The preferred background includes three to five years or more in investigative interviewing, intelligence elicitation, negotiation or a comparable professional practice. Training in PEACE, cognitive interviewing or a related method is valuable, as is experience working across populations or through interpreters. You should be able to justify an interpretation in precise written English, distinguish observations from conclusions and explain the limitations of a judgment. Experience with annotation, AI evaluation or assessment-report writing is useful; prior AI work is not essential.

Engagement and compensation

Work is remote, with US-based contributors preferred. Planning assumes approximately 15 hours per week or more; IXO will agree the actual scope and availability before work begins. Deliverables include scored sessions, behavioral annotations, confidence assessments and written explanations. Pay is $30 70/hr in USD. Interview participation and any recording will follow the instructions and consent arrangements provided for the assignment.
