IXO is seeking evaluators to craft and assess coding challenges for strong students and recent grads. You will develop questions involving algorithms, debugging, APIs, architecture and optimization, and you will explain the reasoning behind each assessment.

Remote assignments are scheduled by agreement, with flexible timing. You will review solutions for correctness and quality, refine task difficulty, and provide concise evidence-based judgments and reproducible checks where applicable.

Qualifications

• Current enrolment in, or recent graduation from, a computing/software or related technical degree.
• Strong programming in one or more languages, sound algorithms/data structures and clear analytical communication.
• No professional-years minimum applies.

IXO is engaging specialists to evaluate software reasoning challenges suited to strong students and recent technical graduates. Your contribution is technical work: make the reasoning inspectable, identify substantive errors and provide evidence that supports a reliable assessment.

Work you will do

• Develop questions or coding problems involving algorithms, debugging, APIs, architecture, testing or optimization.
• Check proposed solutions for correctness and engineering quality, explaining the reasoning behind the assessment.
• Refine task difficulty and wording so the challenge measures understanding rather than ambiguity or memorization.

Required background and routes

• Current enrolment in, or recent graduation from, a computing/software or related technical degree.
• Strong programming in one or more languages, sound algorithms/data structures and clear analytical communication; no professional-years minimum applies.

Preferred background

• Software internships, technically substantive coursework/personal/open-source projects, Git, testing tools and exposure to AI/ML.

Deliverables

Submit the completed technical artifact or assessment with its supporting evidence, explicit assumptions, reproducible checks where applicable, and concise reasons for each material judgment. Address review findings within the agreed scope.

Location and schedule

Remote assignments are scheduled by agreement, with no guaranteed weekly volume. IXO confirms the applicable timing before work.

Pay and working terms

$55 $65/hr USD. The agreed hourly rate, scope, schedule and acceptance criteria are confirmed before work starts. Applying does not guarantee an assignment.
