Jobtailor is seeking an experienced instrumentation engineer in the Île-de-France region to analyze requirements, design robust cabling, and install precision sensors for rotating machinery in constrained, oily environments.

You will inspect instrument reliability, ensure traceability, and work closely with test teams during module assembly to support aerospace applications.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (Master’s level) in physical measurements, instrumentation, mechanical or electrical engineering.
• 3 to 8 years of test instrumentation experience in demanding industrial environments, ideally involving rotating machinery.
• Precision soldering and sensor installation (strain gauges, thermocouples, accelerometers).
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Autonomy in adapting to changing configurations and strong attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Analyze instrumentation requirements and propose routing plans suited to each configuration.
• Design a consistent cabling layout in a rotating, oily environment with severely limited space.
• Install instrumentation, including sensor soldering, jumper installation, and ensuring electrical continuity.
• Inspect and validate the reliability, mechanical integrity, and traceability of each installed instrument.
• Work on-site during module assembly phases, in coordination with test and measurement teams.
• Contribute to the analysis of collected dynamic data (vibration, temperature, and strain).
• Prepare instrumentation reports and monitor QHSE compliance in aerospace contexts.

Requirements

• Engineering degree (Master’s level) in a general or specialized discipline: physical measurements, instrumentation, mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering
• 3 to 8 years of experience in test instrumentation within a demanding industrial environment, ideally involving rotating machinery
• Precision soldering and sensor installation (strain gauges, thermocouples, accelerometers)
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams
• Knowledge of test benches and rotating machinery environments
• Comfortable working in constrained environments (limited space, oily conditions, and rotating components)
• Thoroughness and strong attention to detail
• Autonomy and ability to adapt to constantly changing configurations
• Team spirit and strong interpersonal skills when working with technical teams
