Job summary

Back Market is seeking a Head of Talent Development to own the end-to-end practice, aligning performance, careers, learning, and succession across our fast‑growing global team. You will drive the Workday Talent and Learning implementations and redesign the learning offerings to empower managers and staff.

You will manage a small team and partner with Talent Acquisition, Rewards, and senior leadership to set the roadmap and secure headcount as programs land, while maintaining a strong

Qualifications

• 10+ years in talent management, development, or learning in international companies.
• Hands‑on experience with Workday Talent or Learning deployment as business owner.
• Budget ownership and vendor/content strategy experience.
• Experience leading and growing a team of talent/learning professionals.
• Ability to lead without formal hierarchy with cross‑functional partners.
• Excellent English; French language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own Back Market’s Talent Development practice end to end, integrating performance, careers, skills, learning and succession.
• Lead the redesign of the job and competency framework with Talent Acquisition and Rewards.
• Act as business owner for Workday Talent module remaster and Learning deployment.
• Redesign learning offerings and deploy priority programs for managers and teams.
• Manage and grow a team of 2–3 FTE; set roadmap and headcount funding.
• Co‑own the Talent hub roadmap with Head of Talent Acquisition and represent Talent Development in leadership forums.
