Spiko is seeking a Head of Engineering to scale a fast-growing, AI-native tech team in Paris or London. You will own the engineering org, review architecture, and lead hiring, design, and delivery, while staying hands-on with code and architecture.

You will build a high-performance team of 20+ engineers, push for product-owned engineering, and partner with Product to shape the roadmap. If you’re a builder who thrives in hypergrowth, join us.

Qualifications

• Must have led a team of 20+ senior engineers.
• Experience at an A+ startup or scale-up during rapid growth.
• AI-shaping processes and delivery in engineering.
• Hands-on coding, PR reviews, and deep architectural work.
• Product-facing with strong opinions on what to build.
• Proven ability to hire and raise talent bar.

Responsabilités

• Own engineering delivery end to end: architecture, quality, velocity, and reliability.
• Triple the team within a year by sourcing and onboarding top engineers.
• Design org structure, ownership model, incident management, and security by design.
• Make AI a structural advantage: tooling, workflows, standards.
• Stay hands-on: code, review, make architecture calls, unblock the team.
• Collaborate with founders on technical strategy, build vs. buy, infra and regulatory choices.
