The French Sourcer is seeking a VP of Engineering in Paris to lead an engineering organisation driving delivery, architecture, and leadership for software development, platform, quality, and management. You will report to the CTO and shape the structure and roadmap for the company’s next growth phase.

You will manage engineering managers and senior leaders, ensuring clear ownership across products and platforms, while balancing reliability, security, and growth.

• Manage and develop engineering managers and senior technical leaders.
• Establish ownership across products, platforms, and shared services.
• Translate priorities into an achievable roadmap with CTO and product leadership.
• Improve delivery predictability while avoiding unnecessary processes.
• Ensure architecture decisions support growth, reliability, and security.
• Define how technical debt is assessed, prioritised, and communicated.
• Improve engineering recruitment, onboarding, career paths, and succession planning.
• Review organisational and technical risks across the platform.
• Establish meaningful engineering and operational metrics.
• Manage the engineering budget, headcount plan, and external technology partners.
• Communicate delivery progress, risks, and investment needs to the executive team.
