Pelico in Paris is seeking a senior platform engineer to own a platform capability end to end, build substrate, and run it as a product while mentoring engineers. You will ship core infrastructure, API/SPI design, and drive adoption with internal customers in a fast‑growing SaaS environment.

We value hands-on Kotlin/Java work, platform thinking, and leadership by example. The role offers hybrid work from our Paris HQ with an equity stake in a category-defining scale-up.

Qualifications

• Track record delivering production platform/framework/infrastructure that other engineers rely on (APIs, libraries, runtimes, dev tooling).
• Hands-on coding with Kotlin/Java; TypeScript/React for front-end experiences.
• Strong API/SPI/abstraction-design judgment and scale considerations.

Responsabilités

• Build the substrate: author the framework, runtime, tooling used by squads.
• Run it as a product: own roadmap, contracts, adoption metrics, deprecation policy.
• Set the bar: specs, eval/review gates for trustworthy agent-authored code.
• Harvest field: convert patterns into platform capabilities for reuse.
• Lead by example: write core code and mentor engineers to raise craft.
