Mars, Incorporated and its Affiliates seeks a Global Technical Leader for WET at Aimargues, France (near Montpellier). The role provides engineering analysis to specify, procure, install, and commission process and mechanical equipment, driving capital improvements, new product initiatives and line expansions.

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Process, or Industrial preferred).
• 5+ years hands-on experience in industrial engineering in food, beverage, CPG, or pharma.
• Extensive knowledge of wet food processing and related engineering disciplines.
• Strong business acumen and ability to benchmark and optimize.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Able to work independently and mentor junior engineers.
• Experience leading capital projects within global initiatives.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• English proficiency required.

• Deliver innovative process engineering solutions for manufacturing capabilities.
• Manage scope, timelines, budgets, and cash flows for projects.
• Scope and estimate CapEx projects aligned with business goals.
• Develop and implement global engineering standards for wet pet food assets.
• Lead site master planning and capital investment phases.
• Conduct peer reviews and apply best practices.
• Collaborate with Ops, R&D, Quality, Procurement, and Finance.
• Lead commissioning, validation, and start-up phases.
• Uphold health, safety, and environmental standards.
