Job summary

Antal International is seeking a Global Relationship Manager/Business Director to own strategic client relationships within the Aerospace & Defence sector for a leading international banking group.

The role combines senior relationship management, business development, and delivery of tailored commercial and investment banking solutions to a portfolio of leading corporates. You will coordinate with internal stakeholders and international teams to drive cross-selling and value-added services.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years in Coverage, Investment Banking (M&A, ECM, DCM), Structured Finance, or related areas.
• Proven experience covering European Aerospace & Defence corporates with a strong industry network.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with senior decision-makers (CFOs, Group Treasurers, Heads of Business Development, Structured Finance).

Responsibilities

• Managing and developing a portfolio of Aerospace & Defence clients to achieve commercial objectives and client strategies.
• Overseeing credit-related matters, including risk profile management and credit approvals with internal stakeholders.
• Maintaining senior-level relationships with corporate clients and acting as a trusted advisor to key decision-makers.
• Generating cross-selling opportunities across the industry value chain with senior coverage and corporate banking stakeholders.
• Monitoring industry developments, market trends, and competitive dynamics to support clients' strategic priorities.
• Collaborating with the bank's international network to deliver integrated client solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing and developing a portfolio of Aerospace & Defence clients, ensuring the achievement of commercial objectives and the effective execution of client strategies,
• Overseeing credit-related matters, including risk profile management and credit approval processes, in close collaboration with internal stakeholders and sector specialists,
• Maintaining senior-level relationships with corporate clients and acting as a trusted advisor to key decision-makers,
• Generating cross-selling opportunities across the industry value chain and throughout the client portfolio, working closely with senior coverage and corporate banking stakeholders,
• Monitoring industry developments, market trends, and competitive dynamics to proactively support clients' strategic priorities,
• Working across the bank's international network and specialist teams to deliver integrated solutions for clients.

Key Requirements:

• A minimum of 7 years of experience within Coverage, Investment Banking (M&A, ECM, DCM), Structured Finance, or related areas,
• Proven experience covering European Aerospace & Defence corporates, with a strong industry network and business development track record,
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with senior decision-makers, including CFOs, Group Treasurers, Heads of Business Development, and Structured Finance executives,
• Solid understanding of commercial banking products, including corporate lending and standard financing documentation,
• Strong knowledge of investment banking products and services, including M&A, Debt Capital Markets, Equity Capital Markets, Capital Markets, and Structured Finance.
