Job summary

Mistral is seeking an Onboarding Specialist to join the People Operations team in Paris. You will shape the onboarding experience for every new joiner, ensuring they feel prepared and welcomed from offer to integration.

You’ll collaborate with Talent Acquisition, IT, and Workplace to tailor onboarding for local needs and drive scalable improvements across regions. You will design programs, coordinate onboarding sessions, and track outcomes to continuously enhance the new-employee experience.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering onboarding or employee programs end to end.
• Strong project management, organization, and communication skills.
• Comfort working across teams and adapting to new tools and workflows.
• Ability to identify efficiency opportunities and implement change.
• Analytical approach to tracking outcomes and improving processes.
• Hands-on attitude and willingness to take ownership of daily tasks.
• Confidence navigating HR technology (HRIS, payroll, or similar systems).
• Desire to create a welcoming, consistent experience for every new colleague.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage the onboarding journey for new hires across multiple regions.
• Develop, implement, and improve onboarding programs and resources for the organization.
• Ensure equipment and resources are ready before each employee’s start date.
• Organize, coordinate, and facilitate onboarding sessions, orientations, and integration milestones.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to keep onboarding processes aligned and effective.
• Measure onboarding effectiveness and use data to improve programs.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and drive scalable solutions.
• Manage travel, transportation, and accommodation logistics for new joiners needing support.
