Job summary

Flexport in Paris is seeking an Operations Associate to support the movement of shipments and ensure customer logistics goals are achieved. You will work with account management, customs teams, carriers, and partners to execute on-time deliveries and drive efficiency across the region.

The role emphasizes problem solving, cost-conscious operations, and strong collaboration across internal teams and external providers.

Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree or completed professional training as forwarding agent.
• 3+ years of experience in freight forwarding.
• Fluent in French and English; other European languages a plus.
• Able to adapt to a fast paced environment and manage a large volume of tasks.
• Strong time management and prioritization.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to receive and act on feedback.
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication.
• Strong teamwork and relationship building.
• Compliance-focused attitude in a regulated industry.

Responsibilities

• Be the 'front line' to ensure on-time shipments and handle exceptions.
• Meet internal KPIs and SLAs demonstrating quality delivery.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOP).
• Resolve client issues quickly to ensure smooth operations at origin/destination.
• Collaborate with partners such as carriers, terminals, and freight providers to coordinate operations.
• Execute end-to-end movement of freight within a regional network (imports/exports).
• Assist shipments managed by partners to drive partner autonomy where applicable.
