Job summary

Back Market in Paris seeks a senior leader to steer Total Rewards, compensation governance, and equity governance for a global marketplace. You’ll own the compensation framework, lead the annual review with Finance, advise executives on offers and promotions, and oversee BSPCE and stock option programs.

You will turn People data into decisions using the HR Cockpit, align with Finance, Legal and Payroll, and shape a scalable, compliant rewards strategy across markets.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading Total Rewards or Compensation & Benefits in an international, multi-site company.
• Hands-on ownership of equity programmes (stock options, BSPCE) or comparable French plans.
• Experience running people cost and headcount planning with Finance and building HR data capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Set the hub vision and roadmap for Total Rewards; lead three experts and providers.
• Define decision rights with People Partners, Finance, Legal, Payroll and People Ops.
• Own our global compensation framework: job architecture, salary ranges, benchmarking and pay positioning.
• Lead annual compensation reviews with Finance and advise executives on offers, promotions and retention.
• Govern equity governance, lifecycle management from grant to exit, and help employees value their equity.
• Shape HR data priorities and metrics via the HR Cockpit built on Workday and company data standards.
• Oversee benefits and international mobility principles, ensuring cost control and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure governance, approvals, and data protection in reward decisions.
