Job summary

Santen is seeking an International Head of Pricing to lead global pricing strategy across EMEA, China, and Asia Pacific. This high-impact role requires travel up to 30% and collaboration with senior stakeholders on governance, analytics, and launch decisions.

You will lead a team of Pricing Managers, shape pricing frameworks, and oversee risk mitigation for international reference pricing while driving sustainable patient access and portfolio value.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in pharma or healthcare pricing, market access, and reimbursement.
• Proven track record across multiple countries/regions.
• Experience developing and implementing pricing strategies in complex healthcare environments.
• Lead pricing governance and manage international reference pricing risks.
• Leadership in a matrix organization.
• Experience supporting product launches and lifecycle management globally.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive Santen’s international pricing strategy, vision, and operating model across global markets.
• Establish pricing frameworks, target prices, floor prices, and governance for pipeline, launch, and in-market products.
• Lead pricing risk assessment and mitigation for reference pricing and price erosion.
• Support strategic decisions through analytics, forecasting, scenario modeling, and competitive insights.
• Provide pricing leadership for launches, lifecycle management, and tender opportunities.
• Partner with Market Access, HEOR, Medical Affairs, Commercial, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and regional teams.
• Drive governance, data integrity, systems, and processes.
• Lead and develop an international team covering EMEA, China, and Asia.
