Job summary

WeRoad is seeking a Community & Merch Specialist France to manage our French online community across owned channels and third‑party groups. You’ll translate and adapt copy for the website, trip pages, social media, newsletters and campaigns, ensuring it reads as if written in French.

Based in Paris with a hybrid work setup, you will own the French commercial plan, create local content, host live sessions, and track performance using GA4 and Meta Business Suite, turning data into actionable

Qualifications

• Native French speaker with fluent English.
• 2+ years in community management or content creation.
• Strong copywriting and translation skills.
• Empathy, creativity and data-driven planning.
• Comfortable on camera; experience with video editing.
• CMS experience and basic website maintenance; analytics tools familiarity.
• Based in/near Paris and freelancer status in France.

Responsibilities

• Manage WeRoad France's online community on owned channels and on third-party groups, moderating in WeRoad's tone.
• Own the French commercial plan and adapt global campaigns for the French audience.
• Translate and adapt copy from English/Italian into French for website, pages, social media and newsletters.
• Keep the French website up to date and well merchandised; spot bugs or content gaps.
• Create local content: record/edit short videos, reels and stories and spot local trends.
• Host Instagram Lives with Travel Coordinators and moderate the chat.
• Track website and social performance and turn data into insights for Marketing.
