Job summary

WeRoad France is seeking a freelance, full‑time Community & Content Manager based near Paris to lead local social channels, moderate conversations, and shape the French voice across owned and third‑party spaces.

You will translate and adapt copy from English and Italian into French, keep the French site up to date, create local video content, host lives, and convert analytics into actionable insights for the Marketing team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in community management, social media, or content creation in travel, lifestyle or consumer brands.
• Based in or near Paris with freelancer status in France (auto-entrepreneur) and able to attend office/events.
• Native French speaker with fluent English; Italian/German/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage WeRoad France’s online community on our own channels (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, internal forum) and third‑party groups, moderating conversations in WeRoad’s tone.
• Own the French commercial plan and adapt global campaigns for the French audience with central Content, Brand and Community teams.
• Translate and adapt copy from English and Italian into French for the website, trip pages, social media, newsletters and campaigns.
• Keep the French website up to date with trips, destinations, listings, banners and promotions; report bugs or content gaps.
• Create local content for the French market: record and edit short videos, reels and stories; spot local trends for Instagram.
• Host Instagram Lives and other formats with Travel Coordinators, planning content and moderating chats.
• Track website and social performance (reach, engagement, traffic, conversion) and translate data into insights for Marketing.
