Job summary

Doctolib is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead an SRE team focused on platform reliability and observability across Europe. You will grow and guide Site Reliability Engineers, drive reliability standards, and own transversal services to support secure, scalable infrastructure.

You will collaborate with product and engineering teams, manage on-call practices, and champion operational excellence while scaling for 520,000 health professionals and 90 million patients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering or SRE experience in cloud-native environments (AWS, GCP, and/or Kubernetes).
• 3+ years of engineering management experience leading technical teams (SRE/platform/infrastructure).
• Strong understanding of observability tooling and architecture (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, etc.).
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform) and secrets management systems.
• Ability to balance technical depth with people leadership and mentoring.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• People Leadership: Lead, coach, and grow a team of SREs; regular reviews and career development.
• Technical Strategy: Define reliability and observability strategy; roadmapping; SLOs and alerting standards.
• Operational Excellence: Own on-call experience; drive postmortems and systemic improvements.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Align with product managers, engineers, and architects; participate in leadership forums.
