Jobtailor in France is seeking an experienced HR Advisor/Generalist to own the monthly payroll cycle with our external provider and drive accurate HR administration across the EMEA region. You will manage onboarding and departures, respond to payroll queries, ensure French labor law compliance, maintain HiBob data in English and French, and support Works Council activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience as HR Advisor or HR Generalist.
• Experience managing French payroll with an external provider.
• Good knowledge of French labor law.
• Fluent in French and professional working proficiency in English.
• Strong HR administration and employee lifecycle management.
• Experience with multi-country or EMEA HR contexts.
• Experience working with the Works Council (CSE).

Responsabilités

• Manage the monthly payroll cycle in collaboration with an external provider.
• Handle payroll variables: hires, terminations, absences and salary changes.
• Check and validate payroll results and respond to employee payroll queries.
• Support employees and managers in France and across the EMEA region with day-to-day HR questions.
• Manage employee lifecycle steps: onboarding, departures and contractual changes.
• Prepare HR documentation in French and English.
• Provide first-line advice on labor law and HR policies.
• Ensure compliance with French legislation and applicable collective bargaining agreements.
• Support the administration and follow-up of employee representative bodies (Works Council - CSE) when necessary.
• Ensure employee data in HiBob is up to date and reliable.
• Contribute to HR reporting (headcount, turnover, absenteeism, etc.).
• Contribute to HR initiatives and continuous process improvement projects across the EMEA region.
