Job summary

Algolia is a leading provider of AI-powered search and discovery technology. We are seeking a Business Development Representative to drive pipeline in a fast-paced Global xDR organisation.

You will combine outbound prospecting with timely engagement of high-intent inbound opportunities across assigned accounts. You will work with Account Executives, Marketing, and cross-functional teams to build a strong qualified pipeline.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Dutch and English; additional languages are a plus (French, Swedish, Spanish).
• Experience in business development, sales development, lead generation, or a customer-facing SaaS role.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding goals and quotas.
• Strong prospecting, communication, and relationship-building skills across email, phone, and video.
• Growth mindset with quick learning and adaptability.
• Curiosity about technology and customer challenges.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple opportunities.
• Ownership mindset with accountability for results.

Responsibilities

• Build a qualified pipeline through strategic outbound prospecting into target accounts.
• Partner with Account Executives to develop account strategies and outreach plans.
• Research target accounts to identify key decision-makers using sales intelligence tools.
• Create personalised, multi-channel outreach campaigns (email, phone, LinkedIn, video).
• Qualify inbound inquiries and convert to sales opportunities.
• Leverage buying signals and engagement data to prioritise outreach and maximize pipeline.
