Job summary

Mirakl is hiring a Senior AI Engineer to design, build, and scale production-grade AI systems intersecting software engineering, ML, and Generative AI. The role is based in Paris or Bordeaux with four days on-site weekly.

The position offers a gross annual salary of €65,000–€80,000 and will be determined by experience and scope. You’ll work on AI agents, catalogs, and agentic commerce initiatives to shape the next generation of Mirakl products.

Qualifications

• Strong AI engineering background with production systems.
• Experience delivering production AI systems using LLMs, RAG, and AI Agents.
• Ability to design multi-step agentic workflows and retrieval systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy production-grade AI systems.
• Develop solutions leveraging LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, multimodal AI and evaluation frameworks.
• Architect complex agentic workflows including tools, memory, retrieval, planning, and guardrails.
• Rapidly prototype new capabilities and evolve them into scalable, reliable AI production systems.
• Connect AI systems to internal platforms, business applications, and data sources.
• Enable AI agents to interact with CRM, data platform, Drive, Jira, support tools, and knowledge bases.
• Design robust orchestration layers between models, APIs, tools, retrieval systems, and business workflows.
• Ensure reliability, observability, scalability, and maintainability across the AI stack.
• Partner with end users and engineers to identify high-value AI opportunities.
• Run pilots and measure business impact and metrics.
• Continuously improve accuracy, adoption, and user experience through data-driven iteration.
• Implement evaluation, guardrails, validation layers, and monitoring.
