Job summary

Acolad is a global leader in content and language solutions, and we seek a Team Leader Debt Collection to oversee receivables and guide our collections team in a fast-paced international environment.

You will optimize cash collection, reduce DSO, manage complex accounts, and coach collectors. Strong SAP AR skills, FEBAN experience, and excellent stakeholder management are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Debt Collection, Credit Control, or Accounts Receivable.
• Experience leading, coaching, or acting as a senior point of contact within a collections team.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Accounts Receivable, including customer account management, FEBAN, and reconciliation/matching processes.
• Experience using debt collection management tools; CashNow is highly desirable.
• Solid understanding of collection processes, dispute management, and cash flow optimization.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships while negotiating effectively.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and monitor the customer aged receivables portfolio.
• Perform daily follow-up of customer accounts to identify overdue balances and collection risks.
• Oversee collection activities through the collection management tool (calls, emails, letters).
• Develop and implement strategies to reduce delays and improve cash flow.
• Prepare and support negotiations of payment plans and settlements.
• Ensure documentation and tracking of activities and disputes within systems.
• Monitor balances, disputes, and escalate to Legal when needed.
• Maintain high quality standards and traceability of actions.
• Keep customer records and communications up to date.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of collection processes and KPIs.
