Jobtailor in Toulouse seeks an experienced Industrial Project Manager to oversee capital projects from design to commissioning. You will define scope, budgets, and schedules, prepare specifications, and coordinate with suppliers and multidisciplinary teams.

On-site leadership and HSE compliance are essential to deliver projects safely and on time. You will monitor costs and progress, participate in design reviews, and drive risk management.

• Master’s degree in engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in industrial project management.

• Manage capital projects from the preliminary design phase through installation handover.
• Define the scope, objectives, budgets, schedules, and resources required to deliver projects.
• Prepare specifications, consult suppliers, and analyze technical and commercial bids.
• Coordinate design studies, construction activities, technical interfaces, and the various project stakeholders.
• Monitor construction progress, costs, schedules, quality, and compliance of the completed work.
• Participate in design reviews, coordination meetings, and the tracking of related action items.
• Supervise contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers on site.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, regulations, and company standards.
• Identify project risks, propose action plans, and provide reporting to stakeholders.
• Participate in commissioning, testing, qualification, start-up, and installation commissioning activities.
• Contribute to equipment acceptance, resolution of outstanding items, and project lessons learned.

Requirements

• Master’s degree (Bac+5) in industrial engineering, process engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in industrial project management, capital projects, construction, or facility improvement.
• Strong knowledge of the various phases of an industrial project: design studies, tendering, construction, testing, and commissioning.
• Knowledge of project planning and tracking tools, as well as cost, schedule, and risk management methods.
• Knowledge of industrial environments and HSE requirements applicable to construction sites and facilities.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and work with suppliers, subcontractors, and engineering design firms.
• Professional English proficiency for working in an international environment.
• Autonomy, attention to detail, organizational skills, team spirit, and strong interpersonal skills.
