Jobtailor is seeking an experienced CAPEX Procurement Quality Lead in France to coordinate supplier quality, lead times, and cross-functional teams on CAPEX projects.

You will monitor supplier performance, manage audits, track milestones, and drive continuous improvement while collaborating with Procurement, Quality, Engineering, and Production.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in an industrial environment
• Experience with CAPEX projects involving supplier monitoring, order management and supplier quality activities
• Higher education in Engineering/Quality/Industrial Engineering or related
• Strong technical background and cross-functional coordination abilities
• Professional working proficiency in English
• Experience with ERP systems, SAP preferred

• Serve as the liaison between suppliers and project stakeholders
• Manage the progress of CAPEX orders with suppliers
• Organize and participate in kick-off and progress review meetings
• Track supplier schedules, contractual milestones, and manufacturing lead times
• Coordinate internal Procurement, Quality, Engineering, and Production functions
• Participate in resolving deviations and roadblocks with suppliers
• Monitor and analyze supplier quality documentation
• Verify the compliance of equipment and associated documentation
• Identify quality deviations and track corrective actions through closure
• Participate in supplier audits and manufacturing inspections
• Conduct document reviews before equipment shipment
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of supplier quality processes
• Prepare meeting minutes and supplier progress reports
• Produce CAPEX progress summaries
• Establish and monitor supplier performance indicators
• Provide regular reporting to project management

Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of experience in an industrial environment
• Ideally, experience with CAPEX projects involving supplier monitoring, order management, and supplier quality activities
• Higher education equivalent to a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Quality, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline
• Strong technical background
• Strong coordination, analytical, and project management skills
• Comfortable working with Procurement, Quality, Engineering, suppliers, and project teams
• Professional working proficiency in English is essential
• Experience with an ERP system, ideally SAP, is a plus
