Job summary

Host Broadcast Services (HBS) is seeking a Broadcast Cloud Engineer to join our Digital team, delivering seamless live event broadcasts from stadiums to screens worldwide. The role sits at the intersection of live production and cloud infrastructure, coordinating on-prem and cloud systems (mainly AWS) with internal and external partners.

You will drive automation through Python scripting, monitor video workflows, and support post-event learnings while traveling occasionally to major events.

Qualifications

• Previous exposure to live broadcast environments.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in Python and modern scripting for automation.
• Solid understanding of video workflows, encoding, and streaming protocols (SRT, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Fluent in both French and English (spoken & written).

Responsibilities

• Lead and support end-to-end delivery of live event broadcasts.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise cloud and video workflows.
• Coordinate project timelines, requirements, and stakeholders.
• Drive innovation through scripting (Python) and automation tools.
• Support post-event reporting and knowledge sharing.
• Travel occasionally to support high-profile global events.
