Job summary

AIRBUS SAS in Toulouse, France, is seeking an Avionics Customer Support Engineer to join the In-Service Engineering team. You will provide daily technical support to airlines for cockpit communication and datalink systems (ATA 23/46) and act as the Voice of the Customer.

You will work in an international, fast-paced environment with opportunities for on-site troubleshooting, cross-border collaboration, and career development.

Qualifications

• Background in engineering with at least 5 years of professional experience in the avionics domain.
• Proven experience in aircraft systems troubleshooting, maintenance, and airline operations.
• English negotiation level, with strong oral and written presentation skills.
• Great interpersonal, leadership, and coordination skills to work across multi-cultural teams.
• High flexibility and adaptability to manage stand-by duty and worldwide travel availability.

Responsibilities

• Answer airline technical queries related to operations and provide on-site troubleshooting assistance.
• Anticipate recurring in-service technical issues and influence current and future aircraft design evolution.
• Coordinate engineering activities with regional support centers (Bangalore, Kuala Lumpur, Dubai, Mirabel, Beijing) and tier 2 suppliers.
• Lead technical forums, workshops, and represent Airbus at major customer symposiums and reviews.
• Apply Airbus processes to deliver customer technical support and ensure Entry Into Service readiness.
