Job summary

Airbus SAS in Toulouse, France, is seeking an Avionics Customer Support Engineer to join the In-Service Engineering team. You will support cockpit communication and datalink systems (ATA 23/46) for airlines and act as the Voice of the Customer across Airbus.

The ideal candidate has an engineering background with at least five years in avionics, strong troubleshooting skills, and fluency in English. You will work in an international environment, lead technical forums, and travel worldwide as

Qualifications

Background in engineering with at least 5 years of professional experience in the avionics domain.
Proven experience in aircraft systems troubleshooting, maintenance, and airline operations.
Negotiation level in English, with strong oral and written presentation skills.
Great interpersonal, leadership, and coordination skills to work across multi-cultural teams.
High flexibility and adaptability to manage stand-by duty and worldwide travel availability.

Responsibilities

Answer airline technical queries related to operations and provide on-site troubleshooting assistance.
Anticipate recurring in-service technical issues and influence current and future aircraft design evolution.
Coordinate engineering activities with regional support centers (Bangalore, Kuala Lumpur, Dubai, Mirabel, Beijing) and tier 2 suppliers.
Lead technical forums, workshops, and represent Airbus at major customer symposiums and reviews.
Apply Airbus processes to deliver customer technical support and ensure Entry Into Service readiness.
