Airbus SAS in Toulouse, France, seeks an experienced avionics engineer to join the cockpit communication and datalink support team. You will provide daily technical support to airlines and act as the Voice of the Customer, coordinating with regional centres and suppliers in a fast-paced, international environment.

The role requires at least 5 years in avionics, proven aircraft systems troubleshooting and maintenance experience, and strong English communication skills.

• Engineering background with at least 5 years in the avionics domain.
• Experience in aircraft systems troubleshooting, maintenance and airline operations.
• Proficiency in English with strong oral and written presentation skills.
• Interpersonal, leadership and coordination skills across multi-cultural teams.
• Willingness for stand-by duty and worldwide travel.

• Answer airline technical queries related to operations and provide on-site troubleshooting.
• Anticipate recurring in-service technical issues and influence current and future aircraft design evolution.
• Coordinate engineering activities with regional support centres (Bangalore, Kuala Lumpur, Dubai, Mirabel, Beijing) and tier 2 suppliers.
• Lead technical forums, workshops, and represent Airbus at major customer symposiums and reviews.
• Apply Airbus processes to deliver customer technical support and ensure Entry Into Service readiness.

Job Description

Toulouse, France. You will join the team in charge of cockpit communication and datalink systems (ATA 23/46) to provide daily technical support to airlines and act as the "Voice of the Customer" within Airbus. You will work in an international, multi-cultural, and fast-paced environment.

Your challenges

• Background in engineering with at least 5 years of professional experience in the avionics domain.
• Proven experience in aircraft systems troubleshooting, maintenance, and airline operations.
• Negotiation level in English, with strong oral and written presentation skills.
• Great interpersonal, leadership, and coordination skills to work across multi-cultural teams.
• High flexibility and adaptability to manage stand-by duty and worldwide travel availability.
