Job summary

SES Satellites in Toulouse seeks a Field Services Representative to provide on-site technical support for IFC and IFE systems with airline customers and on the Airbus Final Assembly Line.

You will report to the regional Maintenance & Customer Operations manager, building strong relationships with customers and Airbus, and coordinating with teams to resolve issues, perform maintenance tasks, and ensure smooth project progress.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance including electrical and avionics systems.
• Aircraft Maintenance License is preferred.
• Ability to pass all background checks for airport badging.
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for operation and installation of IFC and W-IFE products to SES airline customers and on the Airbus Final Assembly Line.
• Report to regional manager of Maintenance & Customer Operations EMEA.
• Develop and maintain relationships with airline customers and Airbus to achieve customer satisfaction goals.
• Work with airline maintenance, engineering and planning teams to resolve issues promptly.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to progress projects and resolve problems.
• Assist communication between headquarters, Airbus and customers to prevent conflicts.
• Support all technical aspects of SES systems during installation and on the customer fleet, including preventive maintenance, fault isolation, and software/hardware work.
• Provide on-site technical support of the IFC and IFE to airline or maintenance personnel.
• Provide internal and external reporting of technical issues and resolutions and escalate when needed.
• Support on AMMs, Installation Drawings, Schematics, Service Bulletins, etc.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across companies on technical and certification activities for installations or modifications.
• Monitor system performance daily, identify malfunctions, and take corrective actions.
