Job summary

Airbus Operations SAS in Toulouse is seeking a DataLink Systems Test Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team focused on NAVIGATION, SURVEILLANCE and COMMUNICATION testing. Work spans lab rigs, simulators and real flight test campaigns with interaction across avionics stakeholders.

The role emphasizes defining testing strategies, developing test tools, and maturing new data-link testing methods to support future cockpit policies and safety services. English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Systems/Telecommunication or related field.
• Strong interest for technical activities.
• Open minded and agile IT & Network knowledge is a plus.
• Advanced level of English required.

Responsibilities

• Define testing strategy for Lab and Flight environments.
• Define and manage test tools, instrumentation and procedures.
• Design test procedures including automatic/virtual testing where applicable.
• Execute test campaigns on Lab test rigs and aircraft simulators.
• Plan flight test campaigns with flight crew and analyse results.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across avionics and data-link domains.
