Christies, the worlds largest Art Business, is seeking a Logistics & Gallery Operations Coordinator to support daily logistics, crate management, artwork movement, and gallery space allocation. The role will coordinate freelance planning, liaise with internal departments, and maintain system updates across our operations, reporting to the Gallery Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Good knowledge of JDE or ability to learn quickly.
• Strong project coordination skills.
• Comfortable liaising with third-party vendors on behalf of Christie's.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Team player with a proactive and willing attitude.

Responsabilités

• Manage day-to-day artwork movement coordination.
• Manage day-to-day gallery space management and ensure operational requests are followed through.
• Act as main point of contact for PS department for all of their operational requests.
• Liaise with other Operations departments where needed.
• Plan and coordinate freelance art handler requirements.
• Ensure freelance planning is efficient and communicated clearly to relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure freelance invoicing is accurate.
• Support day-to-day inventory coordination and help resolve operational discrepancies.
• Coordinate special artwork movements under guidance from management.
• Support Sales Calendar JDE management.
• Maintain accurate operational information and ensure timely updates across relevant systems and communication channels.
• Supervise the department's intern
• Support exhibition set-up and dismantle coordination.
• Assist with operational reporting and coordination tasks as required.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by the Manager.
