Mistral.ai is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to design, implement, and deploy AI solutions for critical infrastructure and sovereign institutions. You will work with researchers, engineers, and product teams on fine-tuning, LLM apps, and open-source contributions, ensuring security and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes leadership, mentoring, and delivering production-grade AI systems at scale within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master's in AI, ML, CS, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in AI/ML with leadership experience.
• Proven track record delivering AI projects from prototyping to production.
• Deep expertise in fine-tuning LLMs, RAG, and NLP deployments.
• Strong software engineering skills including API design and system architecture.
