Mistral AI in France seeks an Applied AI Engineer, Fullstack Software Engineer to deploy AI products in critical, sovereign environments. You will design, build, and deploy full-stack AI applications, working with customers from pre-sale to post-implementation to meet security and compliance standards.

You will collaborate with researchers, AI engineers, and product teams to deliver scalable, production-ready solutions for enterprise customers, with emphasis on reliability and secure deployment.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English.
• Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 2+ years as a technical individual contributor.
• Strong coding skills in Python and TypeScript.
• Experience with React, NextJS, or VueJS.
• Experience with NodeJS backend.
• Solid understanding of design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Customer-facing experience and translating user needs into production-ready solutions.
• Interest in building reliable, secure products for sensitive environments.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with researchers, AI engineers, and product engineers on complex customer projects.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications with robust front-end and back-end integration.
• Develop use cases for customers in critical environments and ensure secure production integration.
• Build GenAI apps, interfaces, APIs, dashboards, and workflow tools for sovereign institutions.
• Engage with customers to understand workflows, constraints, security requirements, and objectives.
• Ensure solutions emphasize security, reliability, performance, and compliance.
• Work with product/science teams to improve product/model capabilities based on feedback.
